Art Reflection
This semester I took art with Erick. I took his advanced art class which I felt was more for me.
My favorite part of this class was that we were able to do the art we wanted. Everyone in the class was at a different level and being able to do what we thought we were good at helped improve the skills we already had. My least favorite part of this class was not having enough time to finish all the paintings I started. We also had one art show which I didn’t think was enough for all the art we had. I didn’t really learn anything new this semester. I was able to improve on the skills I already had without having to review everything I’ve been reviewing for the past 3 years. I found this very helpful.
I won’t be taking this class next semester because I’ll be graduating, but I think the way Erick taught the advanced class was perfect. Out of all the 3 years I’ve been here, I think I enjoyed art the most this year because of the advanced class. This class is definitely a keeper.
