Health Reflection

This semester I took independent study with Joe. Independent study was to earn credit for health that I hadn’t earned down the road for some reason or another.

My favorite part of this class was that we were able to pretty much teach ourselves. There wasn’t much of the instructor being up front teaching to the class. I liked this because for me it was easier to learn this way. My least favorite part of this class was at the beginning when I wasn’t able to finish the assignment on time. Joe was able to shorten them and I was able to find a way to finish my work on time.

I learned more than one thing that I didn’t know before I took this class. For example, the many drugs I didn’t even know existed. I feel I learned everything I wanted to learn. Sure, there were some lessons we weren’t able to get to, but I still learned more than I thought I would. I won’t be taking this class next semester because I’ll be graduating, but for those who will be taking this class I’d say to just give them more time to finish their work on smaller assignments because not everyone learns at the same paste as others.
